On Wednesday 23rd July, 40 children from the Senior Preschool graduated from St. Brigid’s day Nursery. Our local North Inner city Community Gardaí, Andrew & Sean drove a patrol car to the entrance of our playground & allowed the children to play in it. Dublin Bus Community Initiative provided a double decker bus, equipped with seat belts, free of charge for our Junior Preschool annual outing to Newbridge Farm. Yeah Dublin Bus! We had a fantastic day! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and made this day possible.

The Cinemagic crew transformed our school into a movie theatre for the morning of Wed. 11th June. Teachers distributed tickets, popcorn and nachos & even rolled out the red carpet for the occasion. Cinemagic has developed into an annual event in our school.
Although the weather is unpredictable (Irish style), we still play in the outdoor area daily. By bringing out different play materials, the children have a variety of activities to choose from.
Sunflowers seeds were planted in April and have been given priority attention by the children since then. Today (May 22nd) the children transplanted the little plants into their planting trough in the playground.
Teachers from the Junior Preschool introduced the theme of ‘Healthy Eating’ to the children though stories, art & tasting. Pineapples, water melons, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, limes, lemons & more were on the menu!
